Right now both USA and UK have major changes ahead at the beginning of the New Year. America awaits the inauguration of it's President - elect Biden and the UK will emerge as an independent nation, no matter whether a "No Deal" or "Deal", Brexit will be made complete.
Here in Britain concerning Covid 19 we are seeing rules relaxed to allow families to be together over Christmas, but then new rulings are already in place for severe lockdown measures in the new year. That's right it's OK to be together over Christmas but the government are predicting a sharp spike as a result of us being together with our loved ones. Already my own son who is in his first year of high school has been told there will be no return to school until further notice.
Many are holding out with high hopes of three new vaccine types that are expected to turn the tide in the fight against Covid 19. The first developed by Pfizer/BioNTech has rolled out here in the UK just this last week. Whilst it is good to be grateful to all those who have worked around the clock in the research and development of the vaccines, to adopt an attitude of we did it alone (without God's intervention) is wrong and ultimately places us in deeper judgement. The Lord gave a direct warning about this on July 13th, you can find more on this prophetic word by following this link The Vision of the Dropped 'R'.
My preamble has given a little background but now lets look at the warning from the Lord that I must and need to share with you today. It's all to do with how any nation in a time of peril should be guided to call upon it's people to join in fervent prayer. This is where literally the whole nation, every man, woman and child collectively pray at a given time for our Heavenly Fathers' supreme, divine help.
A national call to prayer or - A call to prayer for the nation - there's a huge difference
A National Call to Prayer
The last UK National call for Prayer was broadcasted by King George VI on June the 6th, 1944 concerning the D-Day landings of allied troops at the Normandy beaches in Northern France. This was actually the 7th National call to prayer in a 4 year period, the first being during 1940 in prayer for a successful evacuation of troops out of Dunkirk, the prayer was ordered by King George VI and delivered as a speech to the nation by Sir Winston Churchill. For an inspiring read on all seven national calls to prayer during WWII please follow this link to an article by Jonathan Bellamy of Cross Rhythms. So to summarise, A national call to prayer is that of which is declared by the Crown, Government and Church. Coming back to our present time the Churches Together movement did call a national day of prayer in March this year, a church initiative that was excellent and right before God but did not carry as much weight to the general public as it was not fully endorsed by our Regal and political leaders.
A Call to Prayer for the Nation
This is where the church calls for prayer for the nation within it's own congregation of believers. This has happened twice this year as far as I am aware once in March as already mentioned and then again in November through a Church of England appeal.
THE LORDS WARNING TO THE LEADERS OF USA AND THE UK
And now on to todays word from the Lord. It's a simple and easily understood message that is directed towards the leaders of the USA and UK in particular but could apply to many other nations as well. It is to do with the need to dismantle the whole multi-faith movement within the church. Nations over many decades have deemed it necessary to embrace faiths that are contrary to the Christian faith, it has been considered democratic and politically correct to do so. To many this sounds good but this is actually a disgrace before God, to allow in His Consecrated House the prayers, sermons and readings from leaders of other faiths. God desires and expects the leaders of our nations to call for a day of national prayer, but there is a reluctance to do that. For some of our political leaders there are perhaps too many faiths to consider, in their own judgement they may well ask of themselves "is it really worth the risk of upsetting all the other religious groups by calling the nation to pray before God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ?" The following is a word given by the Lord in His say about the matter.
