Praying for Israel and Gaza

I was reflecting yesterday on the re-establishment of Israel happening 77 years ago when the Lord led me to read Deuteronomy 7:1

. . . God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou.

Interestingly, the scripture has two 7's, echoing the 77 years of Israel's return to the Promised Land. 7 for the Chapter number and 7 for the number of countries defeated for Israel to inherit the land that God was giving them. I believe it will happen again, that in our present age we will see Israel fulfil bible prophecy by having full possession of Gaza. 

But, for Israel to be using so much force in Gaza, is this right? How can it be that Israel's defence is so indiscriminate when it comes to the safety of Gaza's citizens? Also, many humanitarian relief teams working hard to relieve those who are innocently caught up in these merciless killings are doing so at a huge risk to their own lives. 

Here in the UK what I see is that the Christian church is divided over this matter. A majority is gaining ground in support of a two-state solution, disregarding bible prophecy completely. 

Yesterday this video by Prophet Israel Ben David caught my notice. I have been so blessed with his message, l recommend that you watch this as this man of God is carrying such an anointing. His wisdom and love for all people is refreshing with a strong passion for all to know Christ, Lord and Saviour of this world.
