In Preparation for the 4th of July

Tomorrow will be the first of July marking the first of the remaining 3 days of my 30 days of prayer and fasting. I thought that completing by July the 3rd would be appropriate, as in the original Independence Day prophecy given in 2025, the 4th of July would be the day of the Lord's judgment over his church. 

Earlier today when I spent time with the Lord, it was as if I had been handed a special invitation, to extend my prayer for one more day to complete a special observance in accordance to the first 4 steps of the Song of Degrees or The Song of Ascension. These are the psalms of David that pilgrims would sing as they would approach Jerusalem at festival time. 

America is fast approaching its own festival time of great celebration on the 4th of July. We are all on that road to reach Independence Day, for many it will be a time of joyous celebration with family and friends, for others like myself, it is more likely to be a time of reflection on all that has been prayed for concerning the spiritual state of the worldwide church.

For those of you who have been following my posts for the last month, please consider joining me on this final journey of ascension for these first 4 days in July. The Psalms 120-123 are short but powerful and excellent to reflect and meditate over, both in celebration and thanksgiving to God for deliverance from those forces that would otherwise hold us back from freely worshipping Christ!

I will post one psalm per day for July 1st - 4th, starting with Psalm 120 tomorrow.

PW33 -- Prayer Watch for 4th of July - DAYS 23 - 29

An update for PW33's 30 Days of Prayer and Fasting - Days 23-29

Greetings everyone, Today's update has taken an unexpected turn. Everything continues in prayer following the pattern of the last few days in taking a different 30 degree sector of the Earth's globe each day to pray for the churches and church leaders who live within these designated regions. This is a methodical approach to pray for the whole world but has one drawback, it does not prioritise where the most urgent need for prayer is.

News of Earthquakes yesterday in Japan, San Francisco and the hardest hit of all Venezuela has made me review how I should go forward in praying for countries in regions that are unaffected, whilst massive human suffering is going on elsewhere. Our prayers go out to all those who are caught up in these disasters. Lord Jesus please give comfort and relief to all those suffering from injuries and the pain of those who have lost loved ones. We pray for the safety of all teams who are rescuing those still trapped inside fallen buildings and rubble. Amen

I am taking another break from daily updates here for a few days. It is important for me at this time to get deeper and deeper with the Lord as we near the conclusion of our time in Prayer and fasting. 

I will continue to keep to the list of countries still scheduled for prayer, but it will be without the daily posts and commentaries. For a whole week now I will be off air, then return for a final appraisal, dedication and praise to the Lord for all He has shown us through these 30 days.

PW33 -- Prayer Watch for 4th of July - DAY 22

Welcome to Day 22 of PW33's 30 day of prayer and fasting for July the 4th.

Today's list of countries to pray for is another big one, 19, but substantially less than yesterday's of 72. Once again, I will break this down into a short list of the main regions from North to South, here we go:  From Iceland to the majority of Ireland and the British Isles, France, Spain and Portugal, West Africa to the tiny Island in the South Atlantic, Tristan da Cunah. If you feel led to spend more time in prayer then I would urge you to consider praying for Mali and Burkina Faso in Western Africa where the church is under severe persecution, along with Nigeria in yesterday's list. PW33 -- Prayer Watch for 4th of July - DAY 21

In these last closing days of prayer and fasting, we are using the lists of countries from Prayerwatch33's Monthly Prayer Calendar, for guidance on countries to pray for. We are not doing this monthly, right now but daily, 12 months in 12 days! Yesterday we prayed using the July/August prayer list and today we are moving on another 30 degrees west to pray for 72 nations as per the August/September list: From Norway in the far North, through all of central Europe, and to most of the countries in North Africa, Central Africa, and South Africa.

Just a reminder, and for the benefit of any newcomers joining here for the first time, as good as it is to pray in general for all countries, our main focus right now is to pray specifically for church leaders in all countries, that they be strengthened and withstand any spiritual attacks. There's a great shaking that is about to happen in the church worldwide, many say it has already started. From Prayer Watch 33's point of view we are looking from the 4th of July onwards, as this falls in line with a prophecy given in 2025. 43 nations from Russia, Finland and Belarus to the North, to Ukraine and Turkey, All the Arab States, Israel, all North/East and East African Countries to the tip of South Africa.

PW33 -- Prayer Watch for 4th of July - DAY 19

Twelve Final Days of Prayer up to the 4th of July.

In these last 12 days, starting from today, I am going to link in with PW33's monthly Prayer Calendar. This is a list of all countries/nations throughout the world, divided into 12 equal segments 30 degrees of Longitude (from North Pole to South Pole) at a time. Normally, the countries falling within any one of these longitudinal segments would be prayed over the duration of one month. What I am proposing is to have a new segment to pray over every day, praying for church leaders throughout the world, moving on 30 degrees at a time, every day until all 12 sections are complete.

Please pray for the churches in these nations as you read through the list in your own words and meditations.  I won't necessarily have a formal prayer for you to follow every day, but as today is the first, I will.

Dear Lord, We come to you today and plead for your protection over your church and to forgive all wrongdoing where any church leaders  have been involved in misconduct unworthy of you, let their hearts surge with pain as they recognize the need to fully repent before you Lord, Thank you Jesus. We fully acknowledge the many churches that have strong righteous leaders who care for their church members with a pouring out of your love, along with the good strong teaching of your word. Bless them Lord and keep them strong as many are persecuted severely in several of the regions we are focusing on today, especially India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.  And so we commit to you in prayer today Lord, all churches in the following nations. 

Russia, Bhutan, Nepal, Tajikistan, China, India, Sri Lanka, Kazakhstan, Maldives, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.

Thank you Lord Jesus, we honour your name and give you all the glory as you deal with all the weakness and sinfulness in your church. Make us stronger in our faith and worthy of you. Thank you Lord. Amen

PW33 -- Prayer Watch for 4th of July - DAY 18

The Turning Point

Today we are over halfway through this current 30 day period of prayer and fasting. This morning I woke up to the resounding and repetitive words that came directly from the Lord concerning my efforts in sharing what he puts on my heart. It felt like perhaps I was going just a little too far to the side of politics in the Middle East, and the forthcoming 4th of July celebrations in the U.S. I knew from what the Lord was showing me that I needed to return to my entry point where from Day One, the focus has been on prayer for Pastors and leaders in the worldwide church. The words I kept hearing were "The Turning Point". 

This is my own turning point -  to keep my prayer attention on the worldwide church and encourage others who read my posts to do the same. World politics are like crazy at the moment, I will continue to watch over all developing situations, good and bad, but save my comments until after the 4th of July.

This is the worldwide church's turning point - that all pastors and leaders have an inner conviction from Christ to remain true and faithful to the ministries they have been called to. Any power-grabbing for self-gain, perversion and manipulation will no longer be tolerated. Through prophecy given in 2025 it is clear that the Lord has given a deadline for wayward leaders in the Church to repent. His staying hand is in place to protect church leaders until July the 4th, when He will remove His hand  and allow the enemy to destroy all that are not of God, the unsanctified wolves in sheep's clothing. 

From tomorrow, we have just 12 days left in this current period of prayer and fasting. I will show you how we can pray for all church leaders in every nation, region by region. It will be an easy prayer guide to follow that need only take a few moments of your time each day. I do so hope you can join me in this final phase of prayer up to July the 4th. PW33 -- Prayer Watch for 4th of July - DAY 17

Every day we are hearing from once reputable brodcasting/news network organisations lies, deceit, and false news. Taking the current news on the Straits of Hormuz for instance, who is really telling the truth? Not just news reporters but very high-profile world leaders are coming out with totally different stories. Come on please, stop all the propaganda and give us the news straight! Are the Straits of Hormuz closed or open to shipping, and dare I ask, is the war really over?! It looks to me like the positive stance is just a gloss-over to make Americans feel good back home, so all can have an incredible celebration coming this July the 4th, masking the truth of what is really happening.

It is so hard to know where to place our trust these days, but that is just talking about trust among leaders who are mere mortals, who are vulnerable to the lust for power. I just thank God that as Christians we have an incredible overseeing love, that is perfect in every way. Thank you Jesus, for it is you in whom we can trust. Amen  

The breakdown of social well-being in so many of our countries is directly due to the abandonment of God's laws. I close today with a link that evaluates America's own position in how strong a nation spiritually they really are in seeking God's guidance. There has been a steady erosion of Christian values, not only in America, but here in Britain where I live, and many other nations too.

PW33 -- Prayer Watch for 4th of July - DAY 16

Yesterday's signing of the peace agreement between Iran and USA to bring about the end of the war looks like it is falling to pieces already. The sticking point is Israel over Lebanon. I am praying on about this as it obviously adds to tensions in the middle east that are already very high. These posts this month are mainly to focus on July the 4th, however world events could well have an effect on everything that will unfold around Independence Day. 

PW33 -- Prayer Watch for 4th of July - DAY 15

Following the football World Cup opening ceremony on the 11th of June at the Aztecs Stadium in Mexico, there appears to be a prophetic video that has gone out, and it is likely to become viral before too long. It condemns the darker side of the ancient Aztec history that was blatantly celebrated in the elaborate show in the opening ceremony. It is good I believe, to draw viewers awarness to this and question whether it was right to include it in the presentation, but then the video goes on to prophesy a calamitous close to the games with a major disaster unfolding. I am not putting a link in here to the video as at present I am not endorsing it. I am still weighing it up as to whether it is a horrible hoax or a genuine given word. Please pray for all who attend these huge games, as stadiums will be filled to the brim and all too tempting for opposing forces of terrorism to play out. 

Yes Lord, we pray in your name that any plans to destroy kill and maim, will be totally foiled and busted. Please keep attendees safe from any evil attempt of the enemy. Thank you Jesus. Amen. 

PW33 -- Prayer Watch for 4th of July - DAY 14

After my post for Day 12 of my fast, when I appealed for intercessory prayer for US citizens against potential terrorist attacks, I realised the importance of praying also for the people of Iran. Did you know the growth of Christianity is greater in Iran than in any other country right now? The level of persecution is also extremely high. Please pray for Iranian Christians, especially around the 4th of July when the funeral of Ayatollah Khamenei will take place.

It is imperative as we pray for safety in our countries, not to have a bias that is overly nationalistic. Remember, outside the modern borders of the lands where we live there's the rest of God's church, our brothers and sisters in Christ. It wasn't my intent in any of my blogs to ignore the urgent prayer needed for Christians in Iran. I have come to the Lord about this, I then sought to find a video that would somehow give support in what I believe, that there will be a metamorphosis for Iran, emerging from an Islamic nation to a predominantly Christian nation supporting Israel in these End-times.

I am blown away after viewing this video below. It is an incredible presentation of the biblical history of Iran and a very well described destiny that God has planned, for Iran to be Israel's strong ally, not to be a destructive foe as is the current world view.

PW33 -- Prayer Watch for 4th of July - DAY 13

All eyes are on whether the current deal to end the war between Iran and USA will hold. It is agreed at the moment that the Straits of Hormuz will be fully open by Friday this week. If this is peace between the USA and Iran, then the threat to US citizens during the 4th of July celebrations could be very much reduced. There is an added risk even before July the 4th of terrorist attacks at stadiums throughout the States whilst the World Cup football is on. We will pray that peace will hold. Israel has been sidetracked through this deal and is unlikely to relent in its rocket attacks on Lebanon, that they claim are in self defense. Part of the US/Iran deal is for Israel to withdraw its presence and all action against Lebanon. Israel will not consent to this as long as Hezbollah are so prominent there. The risks of a far greater flare-up are still very real. We need to heighten our prayer so all of heaven hears our cry!

PW33 - Prayer Watch for 4th of July - DAY 12

A Big Prayer Point for all Prayer Intercessors. Potential backlash for the US amid the July 4th celebrations. This very day has been chosen by the Iranian government for the start of a 6 day funeral of their late leader, Ayatollah Khamenei. Iran has already prepared sleeper cell activists and lone wolves on US soil ready for acts of terrorism. I am really surprised that so few are talking about the link that July the 4th has between one country in mourning and another in celebration, this appears to be an extremely volatile situation. There's is an urgency for us to pray for the staying of the enemy's hand. Our Lord Jesus has the authority to hold back the intentions of those who have no conscience over the lives of others. We pray Lord, for a complete block of any planned terrorism. Praise God. Amen

PW33 - Prayer Watch for 4th of July - DAY 11

On most Sunday evenings for over a year now, I have joined with my church group, sharing the Gospel at an open-air market area in our local town. A few weeks ago, there was an incident that happened, following a very strong objection to our presence. This led to us temporarily being blocked from returning, and up to now, our evangelising and sharing the gospel as a church group has been temporarily suspended.

We have continued meeting open-air, our location different each time according to how the Lord leads us. We all live in a rural area, and have positioned ourselves on a perimeter route around the town from all directions. From the corners of fields to woodland walks and the high outlooks from the hills around, we have been there, continuing to pray for our town. From each location point, with outstretched hands, we've faced towards the town centre in prayer. We all know that we will be back soon, but meanwhile, it does feel a little like we have been exiled. This thought has made me think of the story of Daniel and how he prayed from his room facing Jerusalem three times a day (Daniel 6:9-10).

So what does any of this have to do with the 4th of July? Well, if you have been reading my posts or have watched the videos, Day One and in particular Day 2, then you will remember the prophetic word given a year ago, where our Lord warns the church of a great shaking. This is it, and it's happening right now. Whether the church is being attacked from the outside by enemy forces that persecute the church, or from within, where there are divisive cracks in church leadership, or where there's unrighteous dominance and control, the shaking has begun.

My prayer for you today, is that you stand firmly and steadfastly before Jesus during this time as He orchestrates the movement of His Holy Spirit on all churches worldwide with a sweep of His cleansing hand, like a wind of change where change is needed. Be strong and be unified in Christ. Amen

PW33 - Prayer Watch for 4th of July - DAY 8

James 4:17 "If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn't do it, it is sin for them".

My prayer is that a good response to reading this passage, is to appeal to our conscience to do what is right. When I think of many of our leaders, both in church and politics, I ask myself, "Do they even have a conscience? "

I may doubt, but I have to raise myself above that thought, and have an attitude of hope and belief through prayer that if they are in a place away from God, they will reconsider their actions and do what is right.

PW33 - Prayer Watch for 4th of July - DAY 7

Having browsed through a few more videos on YouTube I have seen one which is proclaiming that today will be the day of rapture. Well, I am still sitting here, and nothing has happened as yet. Don't get me wrong, I am not poking fun at one more prediction that missed its mark. The author of the video looked very young and so sincere and believing, feeling no doubt, a deep sense to share in what he believes as a word from God, with a duty to warn others who may be unaware. 

With the 4th of July just around the corner there's bound to be a few more videos to be posted up soon that will, in a similar way, proclaim July the 4th as the day of rapture. I would like to make it clear that the Lord has never spoken to me about any exact date for rapture and I am happy for it to be kept that way, what he has spoken to me about however, concerns dates which are like railway station stops as we go out on our heaven-bound ride to Glory. The prophecy I have shared with you in these last few days is exactly that, recognising the times when God is calling His people to be more prepared and with a yearning to see His church be spiritually healthy, cleansed and washed in the blood of Jesus, and expectant of His return.

Day Two of PW33's 30 Day of Prayer and fasting for 4th of July

Today's update is a re-look at the first part of a post you will find here, posted on July 4th last year. It is a good background as to how this month's prayer initiative came about.

I intend to do a daily update for the 30 days I have committed to in praying for the 4th of July, and look forward to hearing from those who are interested in contributing with any comments they might like to share. 

A Call to Pray - Day One

Just two days ago, I heard the Lord say that I was to announce a call for prayer and fasting. This will be for 30 days, up to the eve of the 4th of July, when the Lord will act out His judgment over the world church, exposing church leaders who are corrupt in all their ways. The Lord has given them a year of grace to change, to seek Christ and repent. We have the opportunity to pray for those who still continue in their sinful ways but the Lord's Judgement will come. For many, the 4th of July is a symbol of freedom, and it is freedom that the Lord wants for his church.

I am used to fasting but the longest I have personally committed to is no longer than 10 days. This is three times longer than what I have done before, so personally, for me, this will be a good discipline and test of faith. PLEASE, you are not expected to do the same. In the video, I suggest that if you were to set just one day aside, 1 day in 30, then that would be fine. If we can find enough people to join, then everybody choosing a day(s) to their own convenience will I am sure, cover the 30 days to the 4th of July.
